Lynda taught GCSE English Language and Creative Writing for twelve years. She now works as an editor and ghrost writer. She has a Bachelor of Arts, an MPhil and a PhD in Creative and Professional Writing.

Her short fiction and poetry has been included in magazines such as: Penumbra, Square, First Edition, Mslexia, and in the anthologies Secondary Character, The Dance Is New, Exposure, The Welsh Women’s  National Coalition, and Bugged. She regularly writes reviews and previews for Cardiff’s Buzz Magazine.

Ashes Of A Valleys Childhood is her first poetry collection. Not As Pointless As You Think is her first published collection of short fiction. She is the author of Danny Down The Drainpipe and co-author of The Detention Gang series for younger readers.
